Welcome to INTERNATIONAL SEA LIFE EXPLORERS (ISLE), an international, non-governmental organization dedicated to marine research, education, and the protection of oceanic ecosystems. Together with our multidisciplinary network of researchers, divers, and conservationists, we invite you to be part of our story.

The organization was founded by Carlo Everaerts, Harald Swillen, and Gert Dewit, among others, and presents itself as a multidisciplinary team of researchers, divers, and conservationists.

Our core activities

Marine research

We conduct research into marine biodiversity and the impact of human activities. Our findings contribute to scientific understanding and the development of conservation strategies.
